Accessibility statement

Writing to your representative is a civic right, so this service has to work for everyone. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA throughout.

What we've done

• Body text is set at 18 pixels with generous line height, and resizes without breaking.
• Every interactive target is at least 48 pixels tall.
• The whole flow works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
• Form errors appear in a summary at the top of the form and beside each field.
• Status changes are announced to screen readers as they happen.
• Colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
• Text contrast meets or exceeds 4.5 to 1 against its background.
• Pages use real headings, landmarks and labels rather than styled div elements.

Known limitations

Representative photographs come from official sources and occasionally lack a useful description; we describe them by name instead. Party colour bars are decorative and hidden from assistive technology.
